Luis Campos Poised to Exit PSG Alongside Kylian Mbappé After the Season

According to L’Équipe, Luis Campos could potentially join Kylian Mbappé in departing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the close of the season. During his initial arrival at PSG, Campos's role was aimed at ensuring that Mbappé remained at the club till 2025. Following Mbappé's extension with Les Parisiens, Campos, ex-sporting director for Lille, was designated as a football advisor by QSI.

Having contributed to PSG for two seasons, Campos may likely leave the premier club alongside Mbappé, who was instrumental in bringing him to Parc des Princes. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the President of PSG, is already prepping for the following season and the position of the sporting director is a key point of ambiguity in the 2024/25 planning and life post-Mbappé era.

Amid Campos's uncertain future at PSG, Antero Henrique's role and influence in the club seem to have amplified, as stated by L’Équipe. Henrique, the former Portuguese sporting director, has assisted in recruitment and athletic decisions at PSG before his replacement by Leonardo. He continues to maintain a close relationship with PSG's president, which has even led to periodic consultations with Henrique.
